Fondren First Thursdays
Fondren, in downtown Jackson, MS, hosts monthly celebrations to bring people together every first Thursday of the Month. It’s an exciting way to connect with local businesses, entrepreneurs and vendors. I provide family fun through my art. Sometimes, Fondren First Thursdays’ events connect to my other community art.

To show my appreciation of Fondren First Thursday “Event Goers,” I set up a free paint station for them the following month.
Expression Session
Many participants come to Fondren First Thursday’s to connect with others. I like to offer a chance for them to express their internal feelings as well. I hope to embrace community in this way because people visit downtown Jackson from all over the city and sometimes even from outside of it!
Kids have fun.
I like to provide artistic opportunities for family fun. Parents take moment to allow their children time to make art. The kids get to have a nice art break.
