Puzzling Art Mural

“Sykes Community Center” commissioned by “Strong Arms of Mississippi” by way of the Jackson Peoples Advocacy Institute

Though I preconstructed and designed this art, the idealization process was made with the participating facilitators and involved youth. The overall creation was a plethora of help.

I love how the kiddies turned moments that were designed to be muscles into rainbows and sunshine. It all came together!!!

Facilitation from program directors/rec leaders, youth input/participation, mural aids/volunteers, sorority dancers, and Fondren First Thursday goers made this mural possible. It was a pleasure to design, a challenge to fulfill, and sweet joy to complete!
